For two decades we’ve designed and handcrafted gothic giftware – items influenced and inspired by myth and magic. We are lovers of all things peculiar, and creators of products brilliantly individual. 

Every piece commands many hours work – each product that leaves our workshop is a genuine labour of love. Julie, the mum of our family business, once spent two painstaking weeks creating clay scales to adorn our dragons.

Together dad, daughter and mom rose early and worked until the bewitching hours - creating products throughout the week, to sell amongst the hustling bustling stalls of Camden market come the weekend. 

Yet today, things have changed – the business has grown legs, and we count many large retailers and wholesalers amongst our clientele. Over the most recent years we’ve made a move to operate exclusively in the online world, and we remain proudly family-run.

99% of our products are “Primeval Designs Originals” – manufactured by our team of artisans right here in the heart of Lincolnshire. From the first shape that is formed in the clay, to the finishing lacquer of paint, every last process our products undergo is completed by hand with unwavering care and attention.

Every one of our creations is one of a kind, with natural blemishes not to be confused with flaws (quite the opposite, in fact). This originality is polls apart from mass production – when you buy one of our designs, you purchase an item that is truly, wonderfully individual.
